CHESS SUCCESS

First and third is not a bad way to finish off the week with both our teams bringing back medals.  Our Primary and Intermediate chess teams competed at the recent Papatoetoe Central School Invitational chess tournament and played against other schools.  A great experience for all.  A special mention goes to Aymaan, Isaiah and Roland who won all their matches.

YEAR 5/6 VOLLEYBALL

Last week two year 5 & 6 teams competed in the  Manurewa Primary School Sports Association (MPSSA) Volleyball Tournament. Our A team finished 2nd in their pool, and our B team came 3rd.  Well done to all the players we are proud of you!

KI O RAHI –  YEAR 5/6

Last Tuesday our Year 5/6 Ki O Rahi team played in the MPSSA tournament.  This was a first time playing for all of these students and they played amazingly!

We won 4 of the 5 pool games, only losing by 1 point to Manurewa Central.  Then narrowly missing out on 3rd place with another 1 point loss.  We are very proud of all players.  A huge thanks to Whaea Marge for coaching our team.
