NEW GARDEN BEDS

It is with much gratitude Randwick Park School says thank you to the Manurewa Local Board. Having received a Smartygrant, the Year 3 & 4 Kowhai Team have been busy erecting the new garden beds which will play an important part in their education outside the classroom.

YEAR 5&6 LEAGUE TOURNAMENT

Our Year 5 & 6 girls and boys league teams competed in the MPSSA League tournament on Monday.  Every player improved their skills and enjoyed themselves.  Our boy’s team placed 6th and our girl’s team placed 2nd.  Well done to all!

NORTHERN STARS vs SOUTHERN STEEL NETBALL GAME

On Saturday a number of our Year 5/6 and 7/8 netball players had the opportunity to watch the Stars vs Steels game live at Bruce Pulman Park. What a fantastic evening!

Kahikatea Team (Year 7&8)

At the Year 7/8 level, we invite The Village Collective to work alongside our tamariki. Their mission is: “Equipping Pasifika Youth with the knowledge and resources they need for better-informed, well-being and sexual health decisions.”

The topics they cover include:

CHANGE OF CLOTHING FOR OUR JUNIOR TAMARIKI
If your child is in Year 0-4, please pack them a change of clothing. This is incase of accidents which can occur at their age.

SCHOOL HOURS
School starts at 8:40 am & finishes at 2:45 pm. If tamariki arrive after 8:40 am they are late and need to sign in at the back of our office with Miss Dot.

All students are to be off-site/off-school grounds by 3 pm unless they are attending training for a sport.

This is for safety reasons as we do not have supervision in case of an emergency, injury or incident.

OUR SCHOOL COUNSELLOR
Whaea Brenda Paschke is our school counsellor. She works four days a week. She can be contacted through our school office or by email counsellor3@randwickpark.school.nz

SCHOOL UNIFORM
As winter is upon us, we ask that students start wearing our winter uniform. It consists of our school pants, polo fleece, socks or stockings and school shoes (School shoes -black, white, or navy blue, or sports shoes (black, white, or navy blue).

If your child is wearing a piece of jewellery as part of their culture, please advise either their class teacher or our school office. Jewellery, nail polish, and jandals do not form part of our RPS uniform.
