RPNC SENIOR GRADING DAY
“Ok, so asking the girls to lose a couple of matches so they don’t move up into the Senior Prem grade is not in their nature! Nonetheless, for the first time ever (2002), our club has secured a spot in the Senior Premier Grade of the official winter season competition!
While we may have had to rethink our training schedule and add more fitness work to match the intensity of the Premier Grade, our girls rose to the challenge with that typical Randwick determination and grit. And the result? Another remarkable piece of history created for our tiny club.
What started out as a way to celebrate 25 Years of Randwick Park School and 20 years for RPNC netball, the call went out to our past students to help celebrate these milestones.
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable contributions of our returning players and former students of yesteryear. Jess, Brooke, Summer, Meleane, Silivia, Dominique Simi, and Shayd – your wealth of game experience, wisdom, and commitment have been instrumental in our journey. Your willingness to share your stories of ‘back in the days…’ has not only allowed us to cherish past memories but has also inspired us to forge new ones for the next generation. With a genuine pathway now established from our youngest players to the Senior players, the possibilities are endless!
A huge thanks to our umpire for the day, Sina, burning up the court as usual. Looks like she will need to update her umpire qualifications for the Premier grade!

TE HUI AKO, A MEETING TO SHARE LEARNING TERM 2 2024 Tuesday 7 – Thursday 9 May
These conferences are some of the highlights in our school calendar. Our aim is to meet with 100% of you over three days. This is something we get close to achieving with some classes regularly meeting with 100% of you.
The purpose of these conferences/hui is for you, your tamariki /child/ren and their teacher to meet together and discuss the progress they are making towards their goals they have set for themselves including what they are planning on achieving between now and our next Te Hui Ako in Term 3. Tamariki learn best when family/whānau and the school are proactively working together to support them. Information and booking sheets will be sent out to whānau, please complete and return to our school office as soon as possible.
If you have any questions please contact our school office on 09 2670112 or 0800438777.

COUNTIES FOOTBALL
Well done to our two Year 7/8 Football teams who played at the Central Counties tournament. 🥇 Our Girls’ team was undefeated during the day, beating Te Matauranga 3-0 in the final. They will move on to the Counties Zone finals next term! 🥈The Boys’ team won their way through to a final against The Gardens, with the game ending 0-0. Our team unfortunately lost the penalty shootout, meaning they placed second. Thank you to Mr McNaught, Mr Ratnesh, Miss McColl and Whaea Tiriana for all their help!
