We have completed our lockdown exercise and all students, staff, and persons on-site are safely accounted for.  Everyone did extremely well and responded to instructions.  A notice will be going out to parents/caregivers tonight to provide some more information about our emergency lockdown procedures. SCHOOL UNIFORM

Terms 1 and 4 are our warmest terms of the year. We ask that tamariki please start wearing our school sunhat during outside times. This is to protect them from the harsh UV rays.
Our summer uniform consists of our school shorts, skirts, polo t-shirts, and school shoes
(Roman Sandals, school shoes (black or navy blue), or sports shoes (black or navy blue).

If your child is wearing a piece of jewellery as part of their culture, please advise either the class teacher or the school office. Jewellery and jandals are not part of our RPS unifrom.
Crocs cannot be worn during technology and sports.

PACKING HEALTHY KAI/FOOD FOR SCHOOL

If your child is bringing food to school above what is provided through our Ka Ora Ka Ako (school lunch programme) please remember the following:

  • Many different kinds of food(a variety of foods from the four food groups every day)
  • Enough food for activity and growth
  • Mini-meals or snacks during the day
  • Water only, students are encouraged to bring a water bottle
  • Treat foods kept for home (no lollies, chewing gum and large bags of chips or packets of biscuits)
