                     Are you travelling overseas? We encourage travelling during the school holidays, where possible, it is important for tamariki to continue their learning during the school term. Unless there is a family event eg, illness, family bereavement etc, we want all our tamariki here everyday when possible.

If you need to travel overseas, please send a copy of your plane tickets (departure and arrival dates) via email to absences@randwickpark.school.nz or call into our  school office.

CENTRAL COUNTIES NETBALL

Well done to all the students who played in the Central Counties Netball tournament last week – all four teams played some excellent Netball while displaying great sportsmanship! Thank you to all the whānau who came to support us!

CONGRATULATIONS

At a Conference in Australia in the holidays Miss Kirstie Nash was awarded the Recipient of ‘AUSTSWIM TEACHER OF THE YEAR – New Zealand.’  The AUSTSWIM 2023 Awards of Excellence acknowledge individuals for contributing to aquatic education and water safety through leadership, innovation, and community spirit. The awards recognise brilliance, commitment and innovation in teaching swimming and water safety. It is an incredible service to your industry to be nominated and awarded the AUSTSWIM TEACHER OF THE YEAR for 2023 in New Zealand. 

RPS is very proud and privileged to have Miss Nash as a member of our RPS whānau and overseeing our school swimming programme.

CONGRATULATIONS TO CHAZ ETCHES

Who won a gold medal in the GKR (Go-Kan-Ryu) Karate tournament held in Auckland for Kumite in the 12 to 13-year-old male division. He will be competing at the NZ Nationals tournament for kumite held in Wellington on 15th October 2023.
